Some shots of the progress of the random Tomato seeds.
I had spread them haphazardly around the planter box I had built as I assumed I was past season…
Just an experiment to see how they would do down in the planter boxes, since the ones on the deck were not doing so great.
And the, holy crap, on August 7th they had a growth spurt ..


Sadly.. I hadn’t taken into account that Deer think baby tomato plants are a tasty tidbit..


September 1st, new growth and the hopes that a scrap of chicken wire I found will protect the plant this time….

And here we have today, Sept. 19th.. the deer have again chomped down the plants while I was in San Francisco.. but they keep growing back again with a relish *lol* ..
